Find something round you can use as a stamp to provide guidelines - like a plastic cookie cutter or plastic container or lid from a jar - something in an appropriate size. Then just lightly press onto the skin in the design with white or something light, then trace over it with the correct colour.

Yes she did. There was also some old lady who had knitted the olympic rings and other olympic related stuff to sell. I think all proceeds went to a charity and she told she couldn't sell them.

We are supposed to be embracing the olympics and its supposed to be good for Britain, but so far I've been really put off by the greed.

I have to say that the London logo and those so called mascots are hideous... sorry, but... really??

Did someone raid Dr. Who's costume department?

I thought Vancouver's mascots were totally lame...

I heard that as Coca Cola were a major sponsor, anyone wearing a Pepsi logo t-shirt would not be allowed into the games. Although they will allow non-Adidas trainers.

I hate the logos & Mascots too - very amateur looking in my book rolleyes

& I can't believe the whole copyright fiasco, completely goes against getting people on board supporting the games - total joke twisted

As far as copyright with face painting goes, I know from designing, that getting round copyright on all but the most obvious of designs is quite easy - a while since I had to deal with it, but I'm pretty sure its the same - you need 5 differences from the original for it not to be a copyright infringement these can be very subtle changes to size, colour, background, angle etc clown

I've not yet been asked for Olympic FP, but have a couple of ideas up my sleeve that should be fine with copyright - & I've neatly cut the middle out of a couple of taller/deeper circle sponges to make a soft circle for printing onto the face - I've tested them on my Daughter & they work fine

Use daubers of equal size, one for each colour. Maybe if you don't link the rings it would be OK?

I can never see the logo the same way after someone said it looks like Lisa simpson on her knees doing something naughty!

It is crazy as mentioned before on another thread that they want us to celebrate the olympics but can not draw paint anything like with the rings, having said that, we are quick to jump on anyone using any of our copyright photos..... same difference but a stupid one Laughingoutloud

But lets face it there has been no common sense with this. I painted at part of a torch relay and weren't allowed to use those symbols. If you are not working on one of their relays fair enough, but if you are supporting the relay seems a bit ridiculous that your not to do it.

Also, to me 5 bread rolls or something displayed as olympic rings does it really matter. Okay if they were the olympic colours too makes a difference, but just 5 bread rolls???? Lunatics have taken over the asylum these days.
