| well I bet you guys know what i am going to say....LOL Kryolan 080. Been using it for spidey for over 25 years.... never let me down yet! Yes more expensive innitially than snaz.... but lasts 3 times as long....so cheaper in the long run....and red is always needed as a colour....so in use on every job. |
Lol I knew it Glyn! |

| am pretty impressed by SuperStar Poppie - I too was disappointed with Cherry bomb, and am moving away from snaz as I'm not keen on the texture :) |

Love them all!
Cherry Bomb is lovely metallic.
Tag Red is a good metallic red too
Kryolan that Glyn mentioned is excellent too
Snaz red - excellent as well.
For line work - nothing beats a good Wolfe/DFX/Cameleon!
Yeah.... bet you hadn't heard of that yet! Cameleon is the newest stuff around stunning strong pigments and their own line of one-strokes too - designed by Lymari - who has the most beautiful baby - fathered by Alex Hansen! You should have seen her! |

Do you know what it is like to work with? Is it similar to DFX or soft like paradise? Is the white strong for line work like Wolfe? |

I've just bought some Superstar paints to try and red was one of them, but was so confused though as there's 3 red colours - Poppy, Poppy Red and Ronnie Red I went for Ronnie Red.
Fits very nicely into my paradise holder. |

More similar to DFX I suppose, but they have brought out an excellent idea - two blacks! One called Black Velvet which is good for bases and the other is Strong Black - great for linework! All properly FDA approved. |

| I was so excited when my little parcel of new paints arrived on Sat. Amongst then I brought a paradise red. The quality and depth of colour is fantastic, but I'm so disappointed at the shade, it's more of a burgundy. Can anyone recommend a 'bright post box' red? |
I have noticed that my latest ones are very dark, almost brown! |
