Dinosaurs, dragons, superheroes etc is some boys designs I find popular (besides skulls, pirates etc etc) you can make a dragon older (tribal style) or younger (full face w scales) and with monsters add more detailing around the eyes and scary teeth to make it look older :)
Only my 2p's worth hope it helps a bit x |

| Zombies, anything with flames (eg flaming skull), all superheroes, Super Mario Bros (hat with eyebrows & moustache). And wounds! For the little ones, there's a cute car design (wolfe bros) that can be adapted to make fire engine/police car etc. Older boys seem to like tribal designs. Half robot face goes down well too :) |

If you have a basic monster design....it can easily be adapted/altered to become a dragon, or Dinosaur, or alien ,lizard or snake....with a few changes of colour/add or subtract teeth /horns ( around/ on top of the face as well as on the mouth)Add or subtract scales, a forked tongue & obviously change of colours will all make the design different. Good luck |

| I understood that Nick Wolfe is meant to be in the UK soon, teaching a course in boys designs. I think Squeak is the one who is arranging everything. Maybe its worth doing a workshop? |

If you aren't yet doing Power Rangers ( I thought they were dead & gone, so was a shock to me) if today & last week are anything to go by, thats what the boys I've done recently are ALL asking for & seems theres several you can do - the obvious colours of course & apparently the new series has a few new ones added - special Gold & Silver ones - that I've just been told by a very eloquent 3yr old "Well EVRYBODY knows about the gold one - he's not new at all, your little girl is just too old - I'm just about to upload a 5 min version I've been doing - I'm sure you can do better, but if you're not doing them, it might be a start for you |
