I think that 10 - 12 is about average for full faces. |

I think like most painters who have been doing it a while.... the average is probably 10-14....but that can be 'upped' quite considerably if needed. I for one like my 2 hour, 25-28 children average ,jobs for that reason....I can relax & enjoy what I produce....adding 'twiddly bits' as I wish.
I recently did an hour job where I had 30 to get through. I did it (just) and although it was great as a challenge & I was chuffed that I still produced good quality faces.... but they were without all the 'extra bits' that I like to add....dots, flowery twirls etc.... & I would not like to do that very often....so I enjoyed it as a one off.....but know I wouldn't if it was the normal speed I had to work at..... and would feel like a factory production line. |

| I usually say up to 30 in 2hr party but recently did an 8hr job and after taking my lunch break out I averaged 17.5 faces an hour. I only know this as I was collecting in tokens so at the end of the day counted them up before I handed then in. |

About 15-20 an hour.. but can pick up the pace when needed...
as Glyn says the faces are still decent.. but don't have as much detail as we like to add normally. It's much nicer not to be belting out 30 an hour |

| On a more serious note I'd say that normally 15-20 an hour but depends on what they pick and how quickly I need to paint. I have done 30 in an hour, but not the highest quality, luckily they nearly all wanted butterflies. When I started out I was lucky to paint 10-12 in an hour, mainly due to my insecurities and wanting to make each face the best I could do. Just paint how you want to paint and speed will come with practice. |

Regular full faces I quote 12-15 per hour; Fast Faces are 15-20 per hour.
I kept a clicker counter with me at my last high speed event and I did 100 in 5 hours at maximum speed. It can be done but I don't really want to do it too often. |

I am with Jo (Squeak). My normal is up to 20 in an hour for varied designs but can pick up to 30+ especially when girls all want similar things such as butterflies or if one stroke roses are the favourite, I have done well over 40 in an hour!! (Somehow all the Mum's want to get in on the act!!)
